I first got hold of this book when I was in primary 5. It's a beautiful story and also the first book that made me tear. After my first read, I shoved it in the cabinet and never set my hands on it any longer. However, recently when we had a major packing & clearing up at home, my parents and uncle decided to put the Ikea bookshelve in the living room. Being the ultimate bookworm myself, I happily brought all my books from my room and placed it neatly on the shelves. And this morning, when I was walking pass the bookshelves, I stopped and shifted my gaze upon the pile of books and randomly picked out a book. And I'd actually spent hours re-reading the whole book once again. When I was eleven, I read it for the sake of reading and enjoying the story. Presently, though, somehow I carried a different heart attitude reading it and surprisingly, I discovered things that I've never discovered in the book before. I stopped and re-read insightful and beautiful sentences twice and thrice while I'd just gave a mere glance when I first read it.
Man, this is why I love books!
''Having eyes, but not seeing the beauty;
having ears, but not hearing music;
having minds, but not perceiving truth;
having hearts that are not moved and therefore never set on fire.''
