HAPPY BELATED BIRTHDAY TO MYSELF !

Yesterday was quite dramatic .
Mom and Dad wasn't there to celebrate with me .
Michelle , as usual , wasn't at home
and i practically stayed in my room for the whole afternoon reading ''Winning with people'' by John C. Maxwell .
Then i slept
Then i continued reading
Then i slept again
And continued reading

Okay i admit ,
somehow i felt a little bit sad luh
cuz good friends are havin' their O's and they said they could only celebrate for me after their examination
So yea ..
But somethin' cheered me up a 'lil in the afternoon
I received a call from this primary school friend whom ive not kept in touch for a long while called to wish me happy bday .

Went to work earlier than usual and knocked off at 10pm
When i reached under my Block , it's already Ten plus going to Eleven .
Was walkin' really slow to the lift and when i press the button ,
somethin' unbelievable happened ..

Weiloong Cheng an and Weymun came with a box of bday cake and presents
I was really shocked and happy at the same time and i teared -- AGAIN
Went up home to change and came down again .

Im surrounded with love and care
and people who adds value, beautiful colours and significant footsteps in my life
Perhaps sometimes instead of dwelling on all the bad things in life ,
I should just focus on the wonderful things and people around me .

The relief was incredible, like i'd removed somethin' jammed painfully between my teeth or shaken a sharp rock out of my shoe. It's really sad when u actually put in effort in friendships , only to find out that it was never meant to be. That you actually got misunderstood by people who think that you don't care and get sick of old stuff. It's even worse when you later realized that whatever that person had once said was a lie.
It's disappointing .. more than sad .. Oh my , im contradicting myself . I guess the relationships in our lives really do make or break us . They either lift us up or take us down . They help to give us energy and laughter, or take 'em away. But i'm definitely not gonna let this upset me in any ways though the words were harsh and hurtful. Life is too short to think of how others look at you. Fine .. I'm used to it.

Ahh ~ unhappy things aside

Today's really a fruitful day. Shepherd-ed Liyan and melissa and went to meet up Joyce, Xinru, Celine and Ace for the planning of the upcoming MCG on the fourth week of October. It's gonna be fun! I'm excited already! Ha ~ It was a great time of fellowship. Laughters and jokes with the girls . So hilarious luh . Here's somethin' which would brighten up ur day if u're feelin' down. Caregroup was soooo fun and fulfilling .
Am facing alot of storms recently and i was so excited for caregroup last night cuz i know God's gonna drop words in my heart . He had reminded me that i should cling on to him even though im havin' a tough period of time . I only have to please one audience . Not my parents . Not my friends . Not my teachers . But God himself . Love those who tear u down . Love those who insult you . Thank 'em ! They are helpin' you grow ! They are makin' u so much tougher !
People are gonna turn their backs against you . But God wouldnt . He had promised that he wouldn't . '' Never will i leave you nor forsake you . ''

Whoo~ One more paper to go . Design and technology . Tuesday . I think i did really bad for Math and Science . The most important subjects . That's what i think , that is . Really .. I don't think i can make it . Everythin's in God's hands . He'll work things out :) Yea , im sure . So now all i've got to do is give my all for my last paper and keep my fingers crossed . Pray for me , people ! I want to stay with the same crazy and chaotic class next yr ! Im praying hard too :)

You have no idea how touched i was . Really appreciate this family of God . Lastly , Thank you for correcting me and guiding me in my walk with God . Im lookin' sooo forward for the outing on Wednesday . It's been a long time since i went out with the girls . Though it seemed more like a class outing ! LOL . But .. Im so sure im gonna have fun .
