My Lord, My King.
My God, My Father, My daddy
Yay I'm back from Camp after 4days & 3nights in Singapore Sports School
I've achieved all my camp objectives on the very first day (:
One of my camp objectives was to receive a conviction from God. One that would not just come and go but would really convict me throughout my entire walk with God.
It was only the first night but yet i experienced God soo soo much.
I expected a conviction that would have got to do with my group/community.
But i was wrong.
In fact , God gave me this 4 lettered word ''L-O-V-E''.
His love for men and our love for Him.
It's quite fundamental but yet many neglect it.
He reminded me that there's no point in doing anything if you're not doing for/with God or doesn't at all have that mindset of wanting to extend God's Kingdon.
''LOVE'' can motivate us to do great things for God.
It encourages us and gives us a sense of hope and purpose.
On the second day, He spoke to me 'bout the same thing as well.
The majority of the Christians know that God loves us and would never leave nor forsake us.
However, i really sensed it that day.
I actually heard this voice saying '' I love you, my child''
I teared immediately.
That voice was soo clear and full of warmth.
Unlike others, God loves us just for the way we are but not how smart, skillful, goodlooking or even dumb and foolish we are.
His love for us is limit-less and has no boundaries.
The third day & night was a memorable one.
That was the date Jogina and i first knew each other one year ago.
But that's not the point.
The Ultramen (Joyce, Vivien, Celine, Xinru, Jogina, Wanting, Valerie and myself) were in Joyce's room sharing each other's promises to this Ultramen team.
I was the first to tear la but the always -die-die-also-cannot-cry Joyce actually teared too!!
Wahahaha~ mission accmplished!
She'd always control her tears but she just couldnt control it then.
Joyce then suggested us to hold our hands and pray and even before she prayed, she said some things that made us all cry again and believe me, we cried really really hard and it was super unglam.
The sniffing and all.
We then let go of each other's hands and covered our face, wipe away our tears etc and Joyce said
''It's okay! let's hold our hands together! Let the tears flow!''
Come to think of it, it's quite funny luh
Everybody cried like mad, including the always-quite-tough celine, xinru and viven
then it started to rain (yes, i know. It's very dramatic)
At the end of the day, all the Ultramen walked around with super swollen eyebags with our eyes half closed
Haha~ Really love you girls
Oooh and i had a great time taking care of the HongKong sisters (Esther and MeiMei) together with Celine too.
My canto's quite broken la but i have no idea why they say it's good when my family (granparent's side) kept laughing whenever i speak canto.
They are really very sweet people.
On the last day of Camp, they wrote to Celine and I, thanking us and all.
It just touches my heart to know that people all around the world are serving God together with us.
We ain't alone (:
